Laid-back will get you laid back
It would seem that my obsession with music videos is far from over. *WHEW!* I was worried for a bit there.
This week is insane for work, so you’ll have to excuse the multiple video posts. Rest assured there are good thing going on in my brain & I can’t wait to share them with all you. I also can’t wait to actually start writing a crit for these music videos.
For now, just freakin’ enjoi. It’s a holiday somewhere, celebrate that and smile. You’ve earned it.

99 Luft Balons
Nena, Nena, Nena.
For so long I only knew of the German version of this song. I think I still have the LP release in my library & I should really pull it out again soon. This wasn’t just a punky pop track talking about 99 baloons. It was a protest song about the Cold War, and chronicles Nena’s mind-fuck with German/Russian Air Force. For a while I thought there was something sexy about Germanic Language. Read more »
